A friend passed me along this image of an artists' rendition of the parking lot of a Phish concert. Not only is it extremely condescending, but it's also hysterically accurate.

there's more black people in that picture of the one lot than I have seen in 200 shows combined. I love the dude hurling as he's looking for a ticket.

ive seen grey aliens at a phish show, but never osama bin laden. i guess hes been hiding in plain sight all along- weve been looking in afganistan, but the secret is that Osama is a post-hiatus n00b.

Yes, it was a shitty, reductive, elitist piece of trash, and I attempted to convey this in my longer email to the Mercury. As a Portlander, I can tell you that this hipness is indicative of our fair city, and it needs to stop - hence my letter.

As a poker ans Phish phan, I am, of course, a Dr. Pauly fan. Thanks for keeping it real, and let's root for Ivey FTW WSOP ME 2009!!!
