Tips on Raleigh & Poison Ivy

Thought I would post some cool spots and inside info on Raleigh before I take off for Charlotte:

BEER:

• if you want microbrews to sip on lot, hit up Peace St. Market downtown. (804 West Peace Street - Raleigh)

Food and Sundries:

• there is a grocery store super close to where you pull into the venue. (Food Lion, corner of Poole and Birch Ridge)

I love Walnut Creek's lot because there are bits of shade, nice greenways, and is easy to get around in....it's just really well maintained. That being said, do NOT piss in the woods off the greenway trail. It's full of poison ivy. So what seems like an awesome spot to void your overfull bladder is possibly the WORST place you could go.

Last show I went to a couple of months ago they wouldn't let me bring my EMPTY nalgene into the venue. WEAK! I was uber pissed and had to throw it in the garbage or walk back to the car. Don't know if they'll have the same policy for this show.
