25th Anniversary of U2's Rattle and Hum
I wrote something about watching the U2 documentary Rattle and Hum on the 25th anniversary of its original release in 1988. I'm not much of an U2 fan as an adult, but my 15-year old self loved the band.
Here is my favorite scene from Rattle and Hum that takes place inside a Harlem church. U2 and the gospel choir perform I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For...
I also wrote about a different documentary -- From the Sky Down -- about the painstaking recording of Achtung Baby, which occurred at a pivotal point for the band. Had they failed to evolve, they would have broken up. Read more about it here... Rattle and Hum: 25 Years Later.
