Phish Setlist: 12/29/24 MSG, NYC - Night 2

The Phish annual holiday run continues in New York City with the second show of a four-night NYE run at Madison Square Garden. The second night of action at MSG is a Sunday show, and you're well aware of the ubiquitous saying. Those 12/29 shows were often my favorite nights during a four-show run because they've shook off the rust from the previous night and ready to let it rip, plus there's a lot less pressure on the band (compared to NYE).

The entire Phish MSG run will be webcast at Live Phish, so you have a chance to catch the action live or on demand up to 48 hours later. If you can't make it to MSG this year, watching a live stream couch tour is always a viable option, so custy it up or beg your rich friends for their password

The opening show on Saturday was a nice mix of greatest hits with a couple of fun bustouts or other songs not in heavy rotation like Round Room, Driver, and Fuck Your Face. Will they add a couple new covers to the mix or bring back some classic ones (like Ride Captain Ride or Walk Away)? Maybe sneak in a new song or lather it up with some love-n-light schmaltz?
