Gordo Does Costa Rica

Mike Gordon will be playing with Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann once again. Along with Scott Murawski, the three will be playing a show on January 5th, 2008 at Docelunas in Jaco, Costa Rica.

Here's what's up according to Phish.com:

Built on 5 acres of fruit trees, hummingbird gardens, and surrounded by rain forest covered mountains and rolling green fields, the venue is just minutes from black sand beaches. Proceeds from this event will benefit Garabito Schools Environmental Education via The Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are being offered through Mike's online ticketing site. Tickets are also on sale at the The Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce in Jaco, Costa Rica. It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance.

Should be an interesting show in another mixture of two of my favorite bands... Phish and the Dead. Will Page be playing with Mickey Hart next? Or how about Bob Weir and Fishman?
