Jah Love Remixed: Brah Marley

"Roots, Rock, Remixed retains the songs and the spirit of the original(s)... a great dance party record." - Chris Blackwell

I found this somewhere out there and think that you should check it out. The music of Bob Marley is no doubt close to your heart if you are reading this blog. These remixes take the original analog recording and incorporate hip-hop and dance beats. There are many Bob Marley covers out there, but I feel these add something because they try to move from the predictable reggae guitar/bass/drum beat while still keeping the original feel. I like that Bob is still singing on these tracks- so many other Bob Marley covers/tributes out there just don't sound right vocally. Give it a listen- Roots, Rock, Remixed has received a certified blessing from the Marley family.
