Colorado JamTronica Update: Pretty Lights

Last night I caught a few local Colorado bands that like to use their Laptops with live instruments to create a sound that I refer to as JamTronica. Kinda like Electronica music you may be familiar with, but with more of a jam-band feel in the crowd and in the stretching out of songs and improvisation with live instruments. JamTronica is also influenced by Hip Hop. Artists that I consider to be in this genre are STS9, Zilla, and Lotus.

I was really impressed with a Fort Collins band called Pretty Lights. If you like STS9 or Thievery Corporation's music, you may like Pretty Lights. Go ahead and download their album for free from their web site.
