Review: Disco Biscuits at the Ogden Theater, 2/14/09

Saturday night was musically one of the best Disco Biscuits shows I have ever seen. The band was on, from start to finish. I had a great time with friends and there was a buzz in the Ogden. Here is the setlist:

02/14/09 Ogden Theater, Denver, CO
3 sets(
Set I: M80, Meditation> Aceetobee, Astronaut> Save The Robots (1)> Basis For A Day

Set II: Chemical Warfare Brigade (1)> Voices Insane> Crickets (2)> Hot Air Balloon> Voices Insane> Crickets (3)> Munchkin Invasion

Set III: I Remember When, The Very Moon> Astronaut> Gangster> Hot Air Balloon
Encore: Low (4)

1 unfinished
2 inverted (middle section)
3 inverted (ending/beginning)
4 1st time played (Flo Rida)

I can't wait to hear this show again when the recordings surface. Each set was great and had powerful peaks with smooth transitions. To pick out one or two highlights is impossible. Perhaps the most talked about song from the show is the hilarious version of Flo Rida's "Low". Check out my videos:

I had no idea what that encore was. I figured it was a cover, but I 'm a Flo Rida n00b despite living there..
