Pretty Lights: The Making of 'A Color Map of the Sun' (Documentary)
The Joker told me about how Pretty Lights cut a new album, A Color Map of the Sun, by doing something slightly different -- using musicians to create breaks for him while trying to replicate specific stylistic sounds from the 60s and 70s. Although based out of Denver, CO, the new Pretty Lights album was recorded in NYC and New Orleans, and employed local studio musicians from both cities.
