Two hours to get there, (18 mile drive), 2 1/2 to get home - 1h50 minutes to get out of the fricking parking lot.

They could announce a set list of only b-sides from the bends and I wouldn't go to that venue again.

What if they threw in hand jobs, would that make it OK ?

audience: "play the bends!!!"
thom: "ok, how 'bout a hand job?"

nice.

looks like a good show on paper. they busted out karma police, jigsaw, like spinning plates and fake plastic trees for the first time this tour...

I don't care how long it took to get out the parking lot. Soon as I got in my car I stripped off my soaking wet, cold clothes and put on my spares. I was cranking the heat and stabilizing. Heaven.

Show was great! However, I'll say I enjoyed 5/9/08 better since I was warm and dry :)

THAT SETLIST IS WRONG!!! Fake Plastic Trees was the first song in the 2nd Encore, and you are missing a song! 15 step was played after Lucky. And like spinning plates was played as the first song of the 1st encore. They played 25 songs instead of the usual 24. Here is the correct setlist:

01 All I Need
02 Jigsaw
03 Lucky
04 15 Step
05 Nude
06 Pyramid Song
07 Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
08 Myxomatosis
09 Idioteque
10 Faust Arp
11 Videotape
12 Paranoid Android
13 Just
14 Reckoner
15 Everything In Its Right Place
16 Bangers + Mash
17 Bodysnatchers

18 Like Spinning Plates
19 Optimistic
20 Karma Police
21 Go Slowly
22 Planet Telex

23 Fake Plastic Trees
24 The National Anthem
25 House Of Cards

setlist corrected.

sounds like the show at nissan pavillion was a little bit like coventry- lots of reports of rain, mud, and people getting turned away.

This was my first Radiohead concert. 3 of us drove from CT, just about 5 1/2 hours, into "the storm".

We brought enough clothing, jackets, hats, etc - it made no difference. By the time we got to the gate we were soaked. Our seats were about 2 rows from the back of the pavilion, so the roof did nothing. So cold and soaked we stood...

For the record, I'm glad we did. The show was simply amazing. Having never seen them live I was quite impressed with the vocals as it seriously sounds like an album cut happening right in front of you. The visuals were great, stage lighting, as well as sound (with the exception of an acoustic set issue somewhere in there) was done really well.

As far as highlights, when Paranoid Android hits the crest and falls into... "Raaaaaain down..." the lawn went crazy. I don't think I'll ever forget it. Everyone on the lawn deserves serious recognition as I'm sure half of them could barely see because of the sea of umbrellas. Match that up with the heat being drained from their bodies for a solid 3 hours and I have o tip my hat.

Second highlight, fake plastic trees... sung beautifully, soulfully, and holding my woman in my arms a truly magical moment in our lives.

Getting back to the car was also an adventure, as we walked down various paths downstream with the water it felt like we were moving much faster than we were. Everyone hauling ass to their cars, we jump in and immediately strip.

Overall, one of the greatest shows I've ever been to regardless of the rain and the cold. I never suffered, I only endured and persevered...

The audio doesn't do it justice but someone caught that moment in Paranoid Andriod... it's on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=XZWFzOCpiRY

Granted the people up front were dry so you don't hear them... But all of us in the back/on the lawn were going nuts.
